Magnlens Flagship Store
Inspired by urban cityscapes, Laseu Studio designed the first American flagship store for Magnlens at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles, establishing a new retail design language. The 1,600-square-foot space reflects the brand’s energetic, performance-driven identity while creating a clear, visually guided shopping experience.
The store is divided into three symmetrical zones, with a centrally located entrance framed by dark flooring and display fixtures that contrast against a bright ceiling lightbox, drawing the eye inward. Monochromatic side zones provide a calmer backdrop, allowing the merchandise to take visual focus.
The material palette references the cityscape, with concrete and asphalt-inspired surfaces and illuminated graphics nodding to urban signage. Stainless-steel fixtures reinterpret scaffolding elements, while lighting by Within Light Studio echoes the rhythm of streetlights, creating a dynamic but inviting retail atmosphere.
