Punta Mita Residence

Laseu Studio designed a coastal residence near the Punta Mita peninsula on Mexico’s Pacific coast, conceived to embrace the ocean views and natural breezes. The layout prioritizes indoor-outdoor living, with large openings in every room framing the water and allowing cross-ventilation throughout the house.

The main living areas are outdoors, arranged around an infinity pool that faces the beach. A continuous canopy shelters these spaces, providing shade and comfort while maintaining a bright, open atmosphere—ideal for relaxing or entertaining by the ocean.

The one-story house is organized on a clear grid system defined by light brick columns and wooden beams, lending structure and rhythm to the architecture. A restrained palette of white lime-painted walls and large-format cantera stone flooring reflects the surrounding landscape, while custom-made furniture in natural solid woods, textured linens, and leather adds warmth and a tactile richness to the interiors.
